Nvidia and Hyundai deepen physical AI and robotics push

What happened

On June 8, 2026 Jensen Huang and Chung Euisun met in Seoul and announced an expanded alliance: Nvidia supplies the physical-AI stack (Cosmos, Isaac, GR00T) to Hyundai's robotics divisions. The aim is real industrial deployments, not just demos.

Context and impact

Hyundai owns Boston Dynamics. Pairing with Nvidia GR00T and Cosmos foundation models creates a vertically integrated stack: hardware + simulation + foundation model. It competes with Figure, Apptronik and 1X. Nvidia is also pushing Vera CPU with early customers OpenAI, Anthropic and SpaceX.
