HPE AI Factory With NVIDIA Expands for the Era of Agents

What happened

At HPE Discover Las Vegas (June 16-18, 2026), HPE and NVIDIA announced an expansion of the HPE AI Factory: NVIDIA Vera as the first CPU built for the agent loop (tool calls, orchestration, real-time data), bringing deterministic low-latency performance into HPE Private Cloud AI. NVIDIA Agent Toolkit and NVIDIA Confidential Computing also shipped.

Context and impact

Vera is an explicit pivot from batch-optimized CPUs to CPUs optimized for agentic loops — tool calls dominate time in agentic systems.
