Perplexity Comet expands to all platforms, adds orchestrator model picker

Why it matters

Letting users pick the orchestrator is significant - they can finally A/B which frontier model best runs multi-step agentic tasks in their workflow. Combined with cross-platform availability, Comet shifts from early-access curiosity to a mainstream AI browser.

How to try it

Grab Comet from perplexity.ai/comet or App Store/Play Store. Pick the orchestrator in agent settings. Personal Computer on Mac requires Max (or Pro during rollout).
