Australia's Firmus Technologies Strikes AI Access Deal With Nvidia

What happened

Firmus announced on June 28 a strategic partnership with Nvidia to buy infrastructure and sell Nvidia-powered cloud services to "AI native" customers, especially smaller and emerging AI firms.

Context and impact

The deal opens compute capacity outside dominant hyperscalers and strengthens Australia and Southeast Asia's position in AI infrastructure. Nvidia earns product revenue plus a share of cloud revenue.
