Patronus AI announced a $50M Series B on June 25 led by Greenfield Partners. Alongside the round it unveiled Digital World Models — language-diffusion world models for training and testing agents.

Context and impact

Patronus tackles enterprise AI's most acute problem: how to verify an agent will not misbehave on edge cases in production. Digital World Models offer an alternative to eval datasets — they generate interactive simulated environments in which an agent can run thousands of scenarios pre-deployment. The company works with most frontier labs and hyperscalers.
