Sakana AI unveiled Fugu — a multi-agent system accessed through a single API that dynamically selects and combines the best available frontier models for each complex multi-step task.

Context and impact

Fugu reinforces the thesis that the product layer above LLMs will be orchestration, not one monolithic model.
