Grok 4.3 from xAI now available in Amazon Bedrock
What's new
- 1M token context: long documents and multi-turn agent sessions without chunking.
- Configurable reasoning effort: none / low / medium / high — trade latency for quality per request.
- Native video input + tool calling: build agents over video content using standard Bedrock tool-use APIs.
- $1.25 per 1M input tokens: one of the most affordable frontier reasoning models on Bedrock.
Why it matters
Grok has been mostly an X/grok.com surface so far. Bedrock GA means AWS-centric enterprises can adopt it through IAM, VPC endpoints and existing Bedrock guardrails — no new vendor onboarding required.
How to try it
In the AWS console go to Bedrock → Model access → xAI Grok 4.3, enable the model, then call via the standard Bedrock InvokeModel / Converse APIs.
