Here's everything new in Wear OS 7 for the Pixel Watch

What happened

On 19 June 2026, Google began rolling out Wear OS 7 to Pixel Watch 2, 3 and 4. The headline AI feature: a Gemini Intelligence preview with multi-step app automation directly from the watch.

Context and impact

Wear OS 7 is based on Android 17 (build CP2A.260603.001). Gemini on the wrist is a step toward 'AI as ambient interface' — workflows that previously required opening apps can now be triggered without pulling out the phone. For Apple Watch users it is another widening gap between watchOS Siri and Gemini on Wear OS.
